FAQ

What can I expect from Heights Yoga Class?

In your 60min Hatha classes your instructor will guide you through a series of postures specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. Our classes are accessible to all, from beginners to advanced students. Each of our class is intended to open, strengthen, and relax the entire body while allowing our instructors to use their own style.

How hot is Heights Yoga?

Classes are heated to approx. 28 degrees celsius through infrared heating panels for our warm classes. Our Hot classes are heated to approx. 36 degrees celsius through infrared heating panels with anywhere from a 20-50% humidity level in the room. External weather conditions and the number of students in the class may effect the temperature inside the room.

What should I wear?

Wear something that you feel comfortable so that it is easy to move around in. Suggestions of a lightweight, breathable material that will absorb sweat and dry quickly like shorts or leggings, a tee-shirt or a tank top are all great options.

What should I bring?

Please bring a yoga mat, towel, water for class and any yoga props as needed. There will be any rentals of mats and towels available at $2 each.

Is Mask Mandatory?

Effective March 11th, 2022 mask will not be required in studio and on your mat.

How long are your classes?

Our Hatha classes are 60 and Yin is 75 minutes long.

When should I arrive for class?

We start class promptly and the doors will be locked at the start of class. Please arrive no more than 15mins before class.

What are some of the benefits of yoga?

Yoga increases flexibility and reduces stress helping you sleep better. It boost immunity by simply increasing overall health. We find when our members practice regularly they are happier, have better focus and are more able to handle the stresses in life.
